The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team won its seventh straight match on Friday, downing St. Elizabeth, 8-1 in Morristown, N.J. The Chargers are now 7-2 overall this season and 3-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Eagles dropped to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in NEAC action.

How it Happened: The Chargers cruised through doubles play, as the No. 1 team of
Greta Strunk and
Kayla Hubbard won, 8-3, and the No. 2 team of
Michaela Dearborn and
Haylee Fishel won, 8-0.
Sarah Wetzel and
Kenedi Berkhimer won, 8-0 at No. 3 doubles as well.

Just like the men's match on Friday, the women played some pro-sets (played to eight), as well as regular sets, due to rainy conditions that forced the match inside. Strunk suffered a 9-7 setback at No. singles, while Dearborn won easily at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Hubbard picked up an 8-1 victory at No. 3 singles, while Fishel won, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles. Wetzel and Berkhimer both picked up wins via forfeits at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
