Â
3 Questions for 2019
1. Can Lancaster Bible continue to enjoy the Horst Athletic Center advantage?
-The Chargers went 9-1 at home last season, including winning their final five home matches of the season…In those 10 matches, Lancaster Bible won 28 sets, while losing just five
2. Can the Chargers navigate through a tough non-conference schedule?
-Lancaster Bible opens the year at the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic where the Chargers will face Gettysburg, Elizabethtown, McDaniel, and York (Pa.)…The Chargers play Wilkes on Sept. 3, and then Elizabethtown again on Sept. 11…Dates with Moravian and Dickinson will also arrive in the middle of the season, while Franklin & Marshall and Messiah will be two of the final regular season matches for Lancaster Bible
3. Will the newcomers mesh well with the upperclassmen, and if so, how many matches into the season will that take?
-One of the toughest things to do for a coach is to find the best six players who work well together to be on the floor at the same time, but Head Coach
Micah Herron believes he and his coaching staff will find multiple groups that can work well together and give the Chargers what they need depending on each match
