The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team snapped its two-game losing streak on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., as the Chargers blanked Gallaudet, 2-0. Lancaster Bible is now 5-4 overall this season, and 2-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Bison fell to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in NEAC competition.

How it Happened: Lancaster Bible's offense was ready to play Wednesday evening, as the Chargers put four early shots on goal and had a corner kick try in the opening 15 minutes. Senior
Maggie Arnold put the Chargers ahead 1-0 at 15:42, as she received a crossing pass from
Maddy Miller, and put the ball into the back of the net.

The Chargers had more offensive chances in the first half, but couldn't increase the lead, and led 1-0 at the break.

Lancaster Bible pummeled the Gallaudet net the entire second half with shot-after-shot, but didn't increase the lead until 65:05 when
Jackie Moore scored her first goal off the year off a rebound. The Chargers continued to dominate after the goal and limited Gallaudet to just three shots on goal over 90 minutes.

Statistically Speaking: Lancaster Bible outshot the Bison, 25-6, including 13-3 in shots on goal…The Chargers also led in corner kicks, 4-2…Miller's assist was her first point of the season…
Rheeana Miles started her first game of the season in goal for the Chargers, and made three saves for the shutout victory.
