The Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team wrapped up its regular season with a loss to SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon, as the Chargers lost to the Fighting Tigers, 100-76. The Chargers are now 12-13 overall this season, and 10-6 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Fighting Tigers improve to 16-9 overall and 10-6 in conference action.

How it Happened: SUNY Cobleskill raced out to a 7-0 lead, and led 12-2 after just 3:27 of play. The Fighting Tigers eventually led, 18-6, but Lancaster Bible slowly began to chip away at its deficit, and trailed just 22-15 with 10:40 to play after a free throw from
Kaleb Murry.

Lancaster Bible didn't stop there, and trimmed its deficit to three, 27-24, after a 3-pointer from
Jordan Shewbridge with 7:14 left in the half.
Britton Beachy's layup brought the Chargers to within three again with 6:19 to go in the first half, but that would be as close as the Chargers would get, as SUNY Cobleskill closed the half with a 16-6 scoring run, and led 46-33 after 20 minutes of play.

The Chargers moved to within 11 at 53-42 with 14:49 remaining after a layup from
Caleb Carpenter, but SUNY Cobleskill broke away again with an 18-3 run over the next 3:42, and led 71-45 after a layup from Daniel Owens.

The Fighting Tigers lead reached 32 a couple of times down the stretch, and Lancaster Bible lost to SUNY Cobleskill for the second straight season.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible shot 42.6 percent (29-of-68) from the field, including 5-of-18 from 3-point range…The Chargers were also just 13-of-24 from the free throw line…SUNY Cobleskill shot 50 percent (38-of-76) from the floor, including 15-of-38 from 3-point range…The Fighting Tigers outscored the Chargers, 28-6 in points off turnovers, as Lancaster Bible committed 18 turnovers on Saturday…Shewbridge finished with 15 points and four assists, while
