The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team opened its 2020 season with a 17-12 loss to Delaware Valley on Saturday at the Donald H. Funk Field. The game served as the season opener for each team, thus the Chargers are now 0-1 this year, while the Aggies are 1-0.

How it Happened: Delaware Valley opened the scoring just over six minutes into the contest, but Lancaster Bible responded 10 seconds later, as sophomore
Kendal Ream scored her first-ever collegiate goal to even the score.
Emily Morgan scored the first of three first-half goals after Ream's goal, and she scored again at 13:59 to even the score at 3-3.

The teams continued to trade goals as the first half came to a close, as
Cheyanne Seber and Morgan scored for the Chargers, and Morgan's hat trick gave Lancaster Bible a 5-4 lead with 7:08 remaining in the half.

The Aggies tied the game less than a minute later, and then netted two late goals to take a 7-5 lead into halftime.

Both offenses stepped up in the second half, as Lancaster Bible scored the first three goals of the second frame and took a 8-7 lead on Seber's second goal.
Kendal Ream completed her hat trick to get the Chargers started, but Delaware Valley scored the next four goals of the half, and led 11-8 after a goal from Jaden Keefer.

Ream's fourth goal stopped the Aggies goal streak for a second, but Delaware Valley scored twice more, and led 13-9 with 12:52 remaining.
Kayla Steiner scored twice around another goal from Ream over a 3:26 span, and Lancaster Bible trailed just 13-12 with 8:34 to play.

The Aggies answered with a goal with eight minutes to play, and then netted three late goals to close out the game.
