The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball team picked up two more victories on Saturday, including the team's first win over a ranked opponent this season, as the Chargers knocked off ninth-ranked Juniata, 3-0 in Huntingdon, Pa. Prior to defeating Juniata, Lancaster Bible also defeated St. Vincent, 3-0, and the Chargers are now 15-3 overall this season.

Match Notes: Lancaster Bible led by four late in the first set, and won six straight points to open a 24-14 lead, and won the set two points later…The Chargers won eight of 10 points midway through the second set, and then won eight of the last nine points of the set en route to a 25-15 win…The Chargers won six of seven points midway through the third set to take a commanding lead, and then won the match on an error by St. Vincent.

Kole Horst had back-to-back kills to give the opening set to the Chargers…Lancaster Bible won eight of 10 points midway through the second set to build a 12-7 advantage, but Juniata responded with six straight points for a 13-12 lead…Lancaster Bible won four of five points later in the set for a 20-17 lead, and the teams traded points the rest of the set, and the Chargers built a 2-0 match lead on another kill from Horst…The Chargers won four straight points to open the third set, and eventually led, 12-5 after a kill from
Nate Miller…Juniata closed the gap late in the set to 22-20, but Lancaster Bible won the last three points, and earned the win on an error by Juniata.
