The North Eastern Athletic Conference announced its selections for Men's Basketball All-Conference on Thursday morning, and Lancaster Bible College sophomore
Jordan Shewbridge was selected to the NEAC All-Conference First Team for the first time in his career. Shewbridge earned NEAC All-Conference Third Team honors last season.

Penn St. Harrisburg took home all of the individual awards, as Donyae Baylor-Carroll was named NEAC Player of the Year, while his teammate Nate Curry earned NEAC Rookie of the Year. Nittany Lions Head Coach Don Friday was named NEAC Coach of the Year.

Shewbridge has had a tremendous sophomore campaign for the Chargers, leading the team with 16.2 points per game, while also pulling down 2.4 rebounds, and dishing out 2.2 assists per contest. He is second on the team with 35 steals this season as well, and has knocked down 60 3-point field goals.

Shewbridge has scored in double figures in 20 of 26 games this season, including scoring over 20 points seven times. Shewbridge put together an unbelievable stretch in early February, as he scored 29 points in a loss to Penn St. Harrisburg, before pouring in a career-high 36 points in an 88-82 victory over Gallaudet on Feb. 8. Shewbridge ended his three-game stretch with 22 points in a victory over Penn College, as he averaged 29 points over the three contests.

Shewbridge is currently ninth in the NEAC with 16.2 points per game, and his 60 3-point field goals are the fifth-most in the conference. His 84 percent free-throw shooting is the second-best mark in the NEAC, and his 149 total field goals are the seventh-most in the conference.

In addition to Baylor-Carroll, Curry, and Shewbridge, Kevin Dennis (Morrisville State), Josh Gregory (SUNY Poly), and Antwan Claxton (SUNY Cobleskill) were named to the NEAC All-Conference First Team.

Shewbridge and the Chargers will take on SUNY Poly in the NEAC Semifinals on Friday evening at 6 p.m.
