The Lancaster Bible College Women's Tennis team rallied to knock off Mt. Aloysius by a score of 5-4 in the team's fall finale Saturday, October 9.
Singles
-In the #1 singles match Cara DiCiano powered to a 6-2, 6-1 victory
-Kenedi Berkhimer dropped a competitive match 6-4, 7-5
-Freshman Madi Strickler rolled to a victory in the #3 singles match winning by a score of 6-2, 6-2
-Camryn Burkholder was downed in the #4 singles match by a score of 6-2, 6-4
-Kaitlin Kirby picked up a team point winning the #5 singles match 6-3, 6-1
-Finally, Alycia Eglauer was awarded a forfeit victory in the #6 singles match
Doubles
-The team of DiCiano and Strickler fell in the #1 match by a score of 8-2
-Berkhimer and Burkholder fell short in the #2 doubles match losing 8-1
-Finally, the team of Kirby and Eglauer picked up a forfeit victory in the #3 doubles match

"After finding ourselves down heading into singles play, I felt out girls responded well," said Head Coach Rod Baughman. "Cara and Madi were big for us today and Kaitlin picked up a big singles win. Looking forward to getting better heading into Spring!"
Who's Next
The women's tennis team will have conclude the fall portion of their schedule and will return to the court in March.
