How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team fell in a nonconference matchup with Eastern University by a score of 6-0 on Wednesday, October 20.
 
Eastern jumped out to an early lead with Casey Avello scoring in the 11^th minute. The Chargers looked to respond, stringing together possession and creating shots for Kendal Ream and Kara Huber. LBC could not level the score and Eastern would tack on two more goals, holding a 3-0 lead at the brake.
 
The Eagles would score three goals over a ten minute early in the second half to take a 6-0 lead. The Chargers would continue to fight back creating a quality chance in the 58^th minute. Ream would once again fire a shot, this time on frame, but it was saved by the Eagles' goalkeeper. Eastern would cruise to the 6-0 victory.
 
Inside The Numbers
- Kendal Ream led the offense taking two shots, putting one on frame
- Kara Huber took the teams other shot
- Kara Spiezio and Katie Brokaw combined to make seven saves
- Eastern was led by Casey Avello who scored two goals
