How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team picked up a crucial United East win defeating SUNY Morrisville by a score of 3-0 on Saturday, October 23, securing a playoff berth.

Before the game, LBC acknowledged the senior members of the women's soccer team: Hannah Leib, Megan Rogers, Bryanna Stutzman, Sam Koons, Julia Hultstrand & Marissa Allebach.

In the first ten minutes, the Chargers would fire four shots with both Megan Rodgers and Julia Hultstrand putting shots on goal, but LBC could not find an early goal. The teams struggled to maintain consistent possession with neither creating quality scoring chances. Hannah Leib would make a save on a Mustangs shot in the 28th minute, this would be SUNY Morrisville's only shot on goal the entire game. In the 42nd minute Kendal Ream would drive into the box drawing a foul and earning a penalty kick opportunity. Ream would beat the keeper giving the Chargers a 1-0 lead heading into the half.

In the second half, the Chargers look to extend their advantage in the 51st minute Avery Bieber would loft a free kick from just across the midfield strip into the box finding an open Bryanna Hoover who buried a shot into the back of the net giving LBC a 2-0 lead. The Chargers would control possession for the majority of the second half creating more several chances but couldn't add to the lead. In the 87th minute Kara Huber would put the game out of reach smashing a penalty kick into the back of the net and giving LBC a 3-0 lead against the Mustangs.
