How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team fell in a nonconference matchup with Moravian University by a score of 2-0 on Monday, October 4.

The Greyhounds seized early momentum, scoring in the 7th minute to take a 1-0 lead. LBC began to settle into the game, controlling more of the possession and creating some offensive chances. Jade Weir fired a pair of shots in the 18th minute, the second of which was saved by Moravian's goalkeeper. Later in the half, Kara Huber would find some space outside the 18-yard box and she took a shot that missed wide. Moravian tacked on another goal just before the half, scoring on a penalty kick, to take a 2-0 lead into the break.

The Chargers struggled to create scoring opportunities in the second half, but the defense made adjustments to slow the Greyhounds' attack. Moravian fired 13 second half shots but could not find the back of the net. LBC's best scoring chance came late in the half when Huber launched another shot on goal, but the Greyhound's keeper was able to make the save.

Inside The Numbers
- Kara Huber and Jade Weir led LBC's offense taking two shots each
- Erin Mikula made five saves in goal for the Chargers
- Moravian was led by Emma Lenthe and Amanda Meinster who each scored a goal
- The Greyhounds out shot the Chargers 28-5
