The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team dropped its second straight game to begin the 2021 season on Wednesday, as the Chargers fell to Immaculata, 14-7 at Donald H. Funk Field. The loss sends the Chargers to 0-2 this season, while the Mighty Macs improved to 1-1.

How it Happened: The Mighty Macs came out firing and scored four times in the first 3:50 of the contests. Four different goal scorers netted tallies for Immaculata, and Maura Murray made it 4-0 just under minutes into the contest.

Katelynn Perrotta got the Chargers on the board less than a minute after Murray's goal, and
Kendal Ream scored following another Immaculata goal, and the Chargers trailed, 5-2 midway through the opening half.

The Mighty Macs scored four straight times again following Ream's goal, and grabbed a 9-2 lead with 5:42 to play after a goal from Mary McKinney. Ream scored again to bring the Chargers to within six, but a late goal by Immaculata's Tessa Liberatoscioli restored the Mighty Macs seven-goal advantage heading into halftime.

Perrotta scored 51 seconds into the second half for the Chargers, but Ashley Hankin scored back-to-back goals to give Immaculata a 12-4 lead with 20 minutes remaining. Sophomore
Kayla Steiner scored the final three goals of the game for the Chargers, who ultimately fell, 14-7.
