Men's Soccer Shuts Out Abington

Lancaster Bible 2, Penn St. Abington 0

How it Happened
The Lancaster Bible College Men's Soccer team earned a 2-0 road shutout win over Penn St. Abington Saturday afternoon. The Chargers move to an impressive 5-1-1 in United East play with just one conference contest to go.

Lancaster Bible got on the board early when freshman Andrew Cox found Clark Shreiner in the box for the first score of the game, giving LBC the early advantage. The two teams traded ends of the field for the remainder of the first half, with several shots that just missed the mark. A few yellow cards were distributed throughout the half, but the break came with the Chargers up 1-0.

The second half involved quite a few shots from Cox before the Chargers took advantage of another opportunity. In the 65th minute, Kedric Yoder took the ball in himself to score his eighth goal of the season, extending the lead to two. The Lions were unable to put another shot towards the goal, resulting in a 2-0 victory for Lancaster Bible.
