How it Happened
The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team won a tight game against conference rival Penn St. Abington 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers move to 7-6 overall and 3-4 in United East play, while the Lions drop to 2-4 in conference.

Both teams fired a number of shots on goal early in the game, with both goalkeepers making some key saves.

Mikayla Beers fired some shots towards the end of the first half, but the score was tied 0-0 heading into halftime. The second half saw a number of Abington shots near the goal, with keeper
Erin Mikula making a save. It was on the counterattack that
Rachel Dickinson found
Ketty Akselsen in the box for her second goal of the season to break the tie, giving LBC a 1-0 lead. Each team would continue to fire shots near the goal, but neither could punch it in any longer, with the Chargers walking away with a 1-0 road victory.
