The Lancaster Bible College Women's Volleyball team traveled to Morrisville, New York this weekend to compete in the United East Conference playoffs. After clinching the fourth spot in the conference championship, the Chargers squared off against host seed SUNY Morrisville on Friday, November 4
th but fell 3-0. The Chargers finish 18-12 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The Mustangs of SUNY-Morrisville moved to 22-7 overall and 8-0 in conference play.

How It Happened: The Chargers came ready to play in the first set jumping out to a 23-18 lead, this would be the largest and only lead of the Chargers for the night. Unfortunately, though, SUNY Morrisville proved to be too much and use their home court advantage to complete a set one comeback, winning 26-24.

The Chargers battled tough in the second set despite the tough first set loss. Tying the game at 10-10, the Chargers failed to grab the lead again as the Mustangs raced to a 22-14 lead and ended the second set win 25-16.

The third set would be all Mustangs from the beginning jumping to an early 10-5 lead and eventually winning 25-13, completing the three-set sweep and semi-finals win over the Chargers.

Wrap Up: Despite the tough loss Friday evening, the Chargers finished with the second-best record since 2014 behind a 21-9 record in 2018. The season was capped off with a nine game win streak, the second most in program history.
