Coaching PointsÂ
"Very proud of our team grit and effort today! We beat an outstanding team tonight," said head coach
Jon Mack. "It was great to end our regular season on this note and celebrate this big win with our seniors. I thought our guys defended and rebounded at a high level today even though we didn't shoot particularly well. I thought the key was our pressure and our commitment to contest every shot and pass. Uncontested shots were hard to come by for both teams, but our ability to create second chance opportunities on the glass and off their turnovers were critical for us tonight. Tonight was a great moment for our program and conclusion to the regular season. We look forward to preparing for the conference tournament next week. Special thanks to all the fans and the Red Sea student section. The support was definitely felt!!"
