Coaching Points
"Today we really wanted to play well and express gratitude (in our play) for the past players and coaches who laid the foundation for LBC Basketball," said head coach
Jon Mack. "We know we are standing on tall shoulders and today was our opportunity to express gratitude in our play. I thought our defense was the key to our victory. Our guys were locked in guarding on and off the ball. I thought we missed some opportunities on the offensive end at times, but I was encouraged with our assist to turnover ratio today. Today was a great day of celebration and reflection on the impact of LBC Basketball over the past 50 years. We will continue to carry the torch and fulfill the mission with the present and future teams. On behalf of the men's basketball program, we want to thank the 50th anniversary committee for all their hard work and detailed attention to make today a great and memorable day!
