How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College softball team could not hold off St. Joseph's (LI) falling by a score of 9-7 on Monday, March 14.

The Chargers (0-3 Overall) got on the board in the first inning. After Phoebe Clemens was hit by a pitch and then stole second and third bases, Bryanna Hoover launched a sacrifice fly into left field, allowing Clemens to score. St. Joseph's (2-1 Overall) answered back scoring runs in the second and third innings to take a 2-1 lead.

LBC's offense got rolling in the fourth inning. Alyssa Hamilton led off smashing a single through the left side. Bryanna Hoover then singled to third base, putting a pair of runners on base. Later in the inning Chloe King popped a single through the right side, scoring a run to tie the game at two. Noelle Martin then crushed a double into the left center gap, scoring a run to give LBC the lead. After Sonja Nelson drew a walk, Clemens launched a triple over the left fielders' head, allowing three runs to score. Sheyenne King concluded the scoring with a single to left field, scoring Clemens.
St. Joseph's battled back scoring two runs in the fourth inning and five runs in the sixth inning to surge back in front by a score of 9-7. In the seventh inning, LBC had a pair of runners reach base, but ended up in a double play that ended the game at a 9-7 loss.

Inside the Numbers
- Phoebe Clemens batted 1-3 on the day, driving in three runs on a bases-clearing triple
- Alyssa Hamilton recorded a pair of singles
- Bryanna Hoover, Chloe King, and Noelle Martin each recorded a hit and drove in a run
- The Golden Eagles were led by Lindsay Ness, who went 3-4 with three RBIs 

Inside the Circle
- Alyssa Hamilton got the start for the Chargers, throwing 4.0 innings and allowing four runs on five hits, striking out one batter
- Sheyenne King came on in relief, pitching 2.0 innings and allowing five runs to cross the plate

How it Happened
The Lancaster Bible College softball team struggled to get rolling in game two, falling to Wilson College by a score of 19-0 to close out the day.

The Chargers (0-4) had a runner reach base in the first inning when Alyssa Hamilton singled to left field. LBC could not move her into scoring position. Wilson College (1-1-1 Overall) started fast building a 10-0 lead in the first inning. LBC could not recover, as the team did not get another base runner until the fifth inning, eventually falling 19-0.
