Men's Volleyball to Join CSAC As Associate Member

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) is proud to announce that Lancaster Bible College has been accepted as an associate member in men's volleyball for the next two years, starting in the 2023 season.

"The CSAC is excited to welcome Lancaster Bible next season," said CSAC Commissioner Marie Stroman.  "CSAC men's volleyball programs are located among a rich area of the sport - this partnership will contribute to a more meaningful championship experience for our student-athletes, as the CSAC attains an automatic qualification (AQ) to the NCAA championship in 2023."

Lancaster Bible College, currently a core member of the United East Conference but an independent for men's volleyball, will join Bryn Athyn College, Cairn University, Clarks Summit University, Pratt Institute, Rosemont College, Saint Elizabeth University, The University of Valley Forge and Wilson College as participating members in men's volleyball.

"We are excited to find a home for our Men's Volleyball team to compete in conference play again," said Lancaster Bible College Director of Athletics Rod Baughman.  "The Colonial States Athletic Conference presents a great mix of schools that align nicely to our values as an institution, and we are grateful for the opportunity to compete and contribute to the CSAC brand moving forward."

The Chargers, headquartered in Lancaster, Pa., will be immediately eligible for All-CSAC awards and can participate in the CSAC Championship.

The conference is in its third year of sponsoring the sport, as conference play started in 2020.
