Lycoming 7, Lancaster Bible 2

The Lancaster Bible women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought battle with Lycoming College, falling by a score of 7-2 on Tuesday, March 29.

Singles
- Defending United East Player of the Week Cara DiCiano powered to a 6-3, 6-4 victory in the #1 singles match
- Kenedi Berkhimer dropped a highly contested #2 singles match, winning the second set but falling in third set 10-6
- Chloe Campbell fell in the #3 singles match, losing by a score of 6-3, 6-4
- In the #4 singles match, Alycia Eglauer came up just short in second set, falling 6-1, 7-5
- Camryn Burkholder fell in the #5 singles match by a score 6-1, 7-5
- Kyrstin Jarvis won the #6 singles match, rolling to a 6-0, 6-1 victory

Doubles
- In the #1 doubles match, the team of Cara DiCiano and Madi Strickler lost a close battle, falling 8-4
- Kenedi Berkhimer and Chloe Campbell teamed in the #2 doubles match, dropping the match by a score of 8-5
- The final doubles match saw the team of Camryn Burkholder and Kyrstin Jarvis fall by a score of 8-2

Coaching Points
"This was another great matchup for preparation as we enter conference play next week," said head coach Rod Baughman. "Kyrstin Jarvis continued her strong rookie campaign, and I was super proud of the way our girls battled in second sets of their singles matches!"
