How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team could not find their stride against local rival Penn St. Harrisburg, losing by a score of 9-0 on Thursday, April 14. 
 
Singles
- Devon Clemmer fell in the #1 spot by a score of 6-1, 6-0.
- Micah Weaver grabbed a game in the #2 singles match, but lost in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.
- Malachi Bomgardner got closer than any Charger today in singles play, winning the first set 6-1. After dropping the second set 6-1, Bomgardner fell in the third set tiebreak 10-2.
- In the #4 singles match, Josh Jarvis put up a solid fight in the first set, losing 7-6. Jarvis could get no further, falling in the second set 6-1.
- AJ Kwiatkowski could not gain any traction against his Lions opponent, dropping his match 6-0, 6-2.
- Devyn Kintzer lost in the #6 spot in straight sets by a score of 6-2, 6-1.
 
Doubles
- In the #1 doubles match, Devon Clemmer and Josh Jarvis dropped their match by a score of 8-0.
- Micah Weaver and Malachi Bomgardner could not getting past their opponents, falling 8-1.
- In the final doubles match, the duo of AJ Kwiatkowski and Devyn Kintzer played a close match, sending it to a tiebreaker where they fell by a final of 8-7.

The men's tennis team will travel to face St. Mary's College of Maryland in United East play on Wednesday, April 20 at 4:00 p.m.
