How it Happened
The Lancaster Bible College softball team continued their offensive roll, taking down SUNY Morrisville by a score of 13-4 in five innings in game one of their double header on Friday, April 29.

The Chargers (14-23 Overall, 10-15 United East) immediately grabbed momentum in the top of the first inning.
Alyssa Hamilton led off the inning and
Hannah Lieb followed with a single up the middle. After
Bryanna Hoover worked a walk to load the bases,
Chloe King rocketed a double into left center, allowing three runs to score, giving LBC a 3-0 lead. SUNY Morrisville (5-28 Overall, 5-20 United East) responded, plating a run in the bottom of the inning to cut into the deficit.

LBC continued building on their lead in the second inning. With a runner on third base, Lieb blasted a double off the right center field wall, racing around the bases to score and giving the Chargers a 5-1 advantage.
Phoebe Clemens kept the offense going, hammering a home run over the left field fence. The was Clemens' second home run of the season. LBC continued rolling in the third inning, with
Alyssa Paulson hammering a double into center field, allowing King to score.
Sheyenne King drove in another run, blasting a single into left field. Â

The Mustangs tried to battle back, scoring twice in the top of the fourth inning, closing back with five runs. LBC put the game out of reach in the fifth inning.
Chloe King led off with double to left center and after advancing to third, scored on hit by
Sheyenne King. She would then advance around the bases, scoring on an error. Hamilton restarted the rally, hitting a single through the left side. Lieb and Clemens would go on to drive in runs, putting the Chargers ahead 13-4. Hamilton shut down the Mustangs' attack in the fifth inning, securing the 13-4 victory.

How it Happened
The Chargers stayed hot offensively, powering to a 21-6 victory in game two of their double header against SUNY Morrisville.
LBC jumped out of the gate, scoring seven runs in the first inning. Already holding a 1-0 lead,
Bryanna Hoover hammered a double into left center field, plating two runs.
Chloe King hammered a single up the middle allowing Hoover to score.
Alyssa Paulson brought in
Chloe King, hitting a single into right center field. The Chargers continued rolling with Hamilton blasting her first of three doubles, bringing in two runs to give LBC a 7-0 advantage.
The Mustangs scored three times in the bottom of third inning to remain within striking distance. The Chargers scored eight runs in the second inning, pulling away and taking a 15-3 lead. The Chargers' offense kept pulling away, eventually picking up a 21-6 victory. Â
