The Lancaster Bible College Women's Volleyball program, in conjunction with the Lancaster Bible College Athletic Department, is pleased to announce its 2022 slate of matches.

The Chargers went 11-15 overall in 2021, including a 4-4 record in United East Conference play. Lancaster Bible missed out on the conference playoffs on a tie-breaker, but finished the year strong with back-to-back sweeps on the final day of the season.

Julie Brubaker, the Chargers will look to return the conference playoffs, and a tough non-conference slate will set the stage for conference play.

Lancaster Bible will begin its 37
th season of play on Friday, September 2, as the Chargers host Eastern as part of the Crosstown Quad Tournament that will take place at Lancaster Bible and Franklin & Marshall over two days. Lancaster Bible will host the first day, while the Diplomats will host the second day. While at F&M on the second day, Lancaster Bible will play Lynchburg and the host Dips.

The Chargers will battle another Centennial Conference foe on Sept. 6, as Lancaster Bible heads to Carlisle to face Dickinson. Lancaster Bible plays lots of road matches in September, including at Cabrini on Sept. 8 and at Wilson on Sept. 13. The Chargers will head south to Virginia on Sept. 16-17 to play Shenandoah, Eastern Mennonite, and Mary Baldwin. The Chargers will wrap-up a nine-match road swing on Sept. 19 at Moravian in Bethlehem, Pa.

Lancaster Bible will return home for Homecoming Weekend, as the Chargers host Valley Forge on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. Lancaster Bible's Homecoming fireworks will follow the match at 9 p.m., so fans are encouraged to remain on campus following the match and enjoy the Homecoming fireworks display.

The Chargers will host cross-county foe Elizabethtown on Sept. 27, and wrap-up September with a match at Gwynedd Mercy on Sept. 28.

Lancaster Bible will host a tri-match on October 1, as the Chargers take on Lebanon Valley and Mount Aloysius at Horst Athletic Center. The Chargers will head to York College on Oct. 3, followed by a home date with FDU-Florham on Oct. 6. Lancaster Bible will open United East Conference play on Oct. 8 in Aurora, N.Y., as the Chargers take on Penn St. Abington and host Wells.

Following a road match at Clarks Summit on Oct. 11, Lancaster Bible will begin a four-match homestand on Oct. 13 against Alvernia. Lancaster Bible will host at United East tri-match with Gallaudet and SUNY Morrisville on Oct. 15, and conclude the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 18 against Hood.

The Chargers will play longtime rival Cairn on Oct. 20, and close the season with four straight United East Conference matchups. The Chargers will head to St. Mary's City, Md. to face the host Seahawks and Penn St. Berks on Oct. 22, and wrap-up the regular season on Oct. 29 in Williamsport, Pa. with matches against Penn College and Penn St. Harrisburg.

The United East Conference Playoffs are set for November 4-5 at the top seed.
