The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team traveled to Latrobe, Pa. on Saturday afternoon, March 18 to battle against the Bearcats of Saint Vincent, falling 16-3. The loss pushes the Chargers to 2-4 overall while the Bearcats improve 2-1 overall.

How It Happened: The Bearcats managed to score eight goals in the first period while holding the Chargers scoreless. Opening the second period, sophomore
Abby Donaldson put the Chargers on the board, but the Bearcats responded with four more goals to make it 1-12 at halftime.

The third period was all Bearcats, adding three more to their lead to make it a 15-1 game. Fellow sophomore
Lindsey Weaver won the draw control to open the fourth period and proceed to score her first of the game to make it a 15-2 game. Weaver followed up her first goal with her second goal of the game at the end of the fourth period, finishing the game with a 16-3 loss.

By the Numbers: The Chargers had 11 shots with 10 of those being on goal… the Bearcats had 30 shots with 25 being on goal… the Chargers tallied nine goals to seven for the Bearcats… Chargers edged out the Bearcats in draw controls 15-7… Weaver had two goals and Donaldson had one goal... Mullineaux had a game high three goals for the Bearcats.
