The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis squad has been on a roll lately, winning their last four of six matches, capping off with a 9-0 United East Conference win over the Penn College Wildcats. The Chargers improve to 5-10 overall and 2-1 in conference, while the Wildcats drop to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in conference.
 
How It Happened: Sierra Hartmann got things going for the Chargers with a 6-4, 6-3 win at the No. 1 slot. 
Sarah Steckbeck and 
Jania Weist both picked up two-set wins. 
Alycia Eglauer beat her opponent 6-2 twice, then 
Camryn Burkholder and 
Natalie Hoover capped off the singles wins, holding their opponents scoreless.
 
On the doubles side of the match, Hartmann and Steckbeck picked up an 8-0 win. Weist and Eglauer won their match 8-6, and the Burkholder/Hoover combo held their opponents scoreless as well with an 8-0 win.
 
Information to Know: This is the Chargers' eighth win over the Wildcats and seventh in a row in program history… the Chargers are also currently third overall in the United East with a 2-1 conference record.
