The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team traveled to Reading, Pa. on Tuesday afternoon to face off against United East foe Penn St. Berks, winning 6-3. The Chargers improve to 7-10 overall and 3-1 in conference, while the Lions drop to 1-10 and 1-4 in conference.

How It Happened: The Chargers got their first wins of the day from
Jania Weist and
Alycia Eglauer as they won 8-3, then
Camryn Burkholder and
Natalie Hoover followed suit, winning 8-4. The Lions got the win at the No. 1 slot for doubles as
Sarah Steckbeck and
Sierra Hartmann fell in extra points.

On the singles side, Weist picked up a 6-0, 6-0 sweep while Burkholder won 6-1, 6-1. Hoover also had a dominant game, winning 6-1, 6-0, and Steckbeck got the sixth win of the night on a 6-1, 6-3 match. Hartmann and Eglauer played in two tough matches, but ultimately fell.
