The Lancaster Bible College softball team competed in their first of three final United East double-headers against the Penn College Wildcats, falling in the first game 6-3 and in the second game 10-1. The Chargers fall to 8-22 overall and 4-16 in conference, while the Wildcats improve to 21-7 overall and 13-3 in conference.

Game One, 6-3 Loss

How It Happened: The Wildcats scored three runs early, but the Chargers were able to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the 3
rd inning as junior
Phoebe Clemens singled to center, bringing in
Alyssa Paulson. Then, senior
Chloe King singled to bring in Clemens and
Alyssa Hamilton. The Wildcats, though, answered with three more runs in the seventh, finishing the game on a 6-3 win.

By the Numbers: The Chargers had five hits for three runs and three RBIs… the Wildcats had 11 hits for six runs and two RBIs… Clemens went 2-3 with one RBI and one run…
Chloe King went 1-3 with two RBIs… Mangene, Morder, and Hurst each had two hits.
Game Two, 10-1 Loss

How It Happened: The Wildcats used an offensive bombardment in the first inning to propel them to a 10-0 lead. The Chargers managed to score one run in the third inning as Hamilton scored on a fielder's choice, but the Chargers were unable to rally, suffering a 10-1 loss.

By the Numbers: The Chargers had seven hits for one run and one RBI… the Wildcats had 14 hits for 10 runs and 10 RBIs…
Hannah Lieb went 3-3 on the game… Snyder went 3-3 with two RBIs for the Wildcats.
