The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team ended their impressive 2023 campaign in the United East Championships against the #1 St. Mary's (Md.), 5-0 after pulling off a 5-3 upset over Penn St. Harrisburg the night before. The Chargers fall to 14-4 overall while the Seahawks improve to 10-3 overall and earn a bid to the NCAA National Tournament.

How It Happened: The Chargers found themselves down early after the Seahawks nabbed all three doubles victories.
Josh Jarvis and
Devon Clemmer fell 8-2, AJ Kwiatksowski and
Micah Weaver had a hard fought match 8-5, and the duo of
Malachi Bomgardner and
Caleb Cavaiani fell 8-4.

On the singles side, the Seahawks picked up two quick singles wins over
Micah Weaver and
AJ Kwiatkowski to rush to a 4-0 lead. Clemmer and Jarvis battled as well but their matches would remain unfinished as the Chargers fell 5-0 in the United East Championship.
