Lancaster Bible College fell to Geneva College 2-1 in a tight match on the road. This puts the Chargers at 0-1-1 on the year without any conference games played so far. On the other hand, the Golden Tornadoes move up to a 1-1 record.
How It Happened: The Chargers' defense was put under a lot of pressure to start the game, and senior

th minute, goalkeeper
Richie Lockard made his first save of the match following a shot from Kyle Lapoure. Just about a quarter into the game,
Andrew Cox tried to shift the momentum for the Chargers with a shot that was just left of the net. With just 4 minutes remaining in the first half, Geneva earned a penalty kick, and Gourav Vasdev was unable to get his shot on target. Thanks to a strong defensive performance from Lancaster Bible, both teams went into halftime tied at zero.
Geneva continued their pressure early in the second half, and Lapoure was able to find Wil Dunda inside of the box to set up the first goal for the Tornadoes. The Golden Tornadoes did not let up as Dominic Sambucco snuck through the Chargers' defense and laid off a pass to Ojha Ojha as Geneva took a 2-0 lead in the 56
th minute.
Dylan Zimmerman came in for the Chargers as the goalkeeper, and he came up with a beautiful diving save following a shot from Ojha to keep the Chargers in striking distance. In the 84
th minute,
Micah Nyce had a breakaway opportunity and despite a couple of Tornado defenders, he was able to get the ball to Cox who rolled it in just past the keeper to bring the score to 1-2. The Chargers continued to push for an extra goal, but ultimately, Geneva came out with the win.

We needed more defensive balance and patience but failed to execute when we needed to. We are still learning a lot about the makeup of our team, and we'll take the lessons from this and grow from it." -
