The Lancaster Bible College Men's Soccer team traveled to Penn St. Abington on Wednesday afternoon for a United East Conference match with the Lions falling 2-0. The Chargers fall to 4-8-1 overall and 2-3 in conference while the Lions improve to 6-6-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in conference.

How It Happened: Coming off a 3-0 win at Wilson, the Chargers were looking for their third conference victory on Wednesday afternoon. The Chargers fought tough in the first half behind a strong defensive effort and several scoring opportunities.

Despite the disciplined play from the Chargers, the second half was a different story as the Lions got their first goal to go in the 49^th minute. The Chargers managed to get a shot and a corner, but their chances turned up empty as the Lions scored their second just before the final horn. The Lions went on to win at home, 2-0.

By the Numbers: The Chargers were outshot 17-3… the Lions had more corner kicks 4-3… the Chargers tallied four saves… Arsene Bado and Eljo Agolli scored for the Lions.

From the Coach: "Today's game revealed simple things that we need to address before we take steps forward," said Head Coach Tom Ardt. "We are looking forward to training this week in preparation for Saturday at home."
