The Lancaster Bible College Men's Tennis team squared off against alum Yancy Butler's Knights of Mount Saint Mary (NY) on Thursday evening winning 5-2. The Chargers finish out their fall season 2-1 overall while the Knights drop to 0-1 on the season.
The Chargers earned four out of the six singles wins beginning with a convincing 6-4, 6-2 win for the United East Player of the Week
Josh Jarvis. Freshman
Owen Mileham picked up a 6-1, 7-5 win at the number-three slot while teammates
Andrew Kelly and
Austin King both won their matches as well.
The Chargers went 2-1 in doubles play with
Josh Jarvis and
Cameron Tripp winning 6-1. Cole Sheihing and
Cullen Lloyd lost a tough one 6-3 while
Owen Mileham and
Austin King won the third slot by forfeit.
