The Lancaster Bible College Women's Tennis team squared off against alum Yancy Butler's Knights of Mount Saint Mary (NY) on Thursday evening winning 5-2. The Chargers finish out their fall season 1-1 overall while the Knights drop to 4-5 on the season.

In singles play, the Chargers grabbed four out of the six matches including convincing wins from Sierra Hartmann, Lu Yakhyaeva, Natalie Hoover, and Susannah Clawser. Both Hoover and Clawser's matches were a dogfight needing a tiebreaker. Hoover won her match on a 15-13 third set win.

Doubles play was about the same for the Chargers. Despite losing at the number-two slot, the Chargers duos of Yakhyaeva-Hartmann and Clawser-Rebekah Dimove won their matches by a comfortable margin.

Up Next: The Chargers close out the 2024 fall season 1-1 and will look to carry their momentum into the spring of 2025.
