The Lancaster Bible College Women's Tennis team opened their spring season on Saturday, February 22 at Elizabethtown falling 5-2. The Chargers are now 1-2 on the season while the Blue Jays improve to 1-2 on the season.
The Chargers were able to pickup two wins on the day including an impressive 6-1 doubles win from
Jania Weist and
Susannah Clawser in the second slot. In singles play there were several close competitions, but Weist and Clawser were the only ones to walk away with victories winning 6-4, 0-6, 11-9 and 6-2, 6-2.
Natalie Hoover lost a tough one 6-1, 7-5 while freshman
Becky Dimov also competed but fell 6-4, 6-2.
