The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women's Track & Field teams opened up competition Friday night at the cross-town Diplomat Open at Franklin & Marshall. The Chargers saw three NCCAA qualifications, three new school records, and a lot of personal bests in just their first meet of the indoor season.
Highlighting the night was freshman
Kyle Durkin who walked away with a first place finish in the long jump with a jump of 6.61 meters. Durkin's jump not only qualified him for the NCCAA Indoor Nationals but set a new school record. He also placed sixth overall in the 200-meter sprint with a time of 23.72.
