The Lancaster Bible College Women's Basketball squad took a 74-65 road dub against Penn College. The Chargers move up to 7-14 on the year and 5-5 in the United East as the current five seed. Penn College drops to a 6-17 record and 2-8 in conference games.

How It Happened:Â The Chargers came out roaring to score the first seven points of the game sparked by an
Alaysha Iwais three. The Wildcats answered with five of their own, but another three from Iwais gave Lancaster Bible a 14-5 lead at the end of the first. Iwais made her third three-pointer at the start of the second quarter, marking her 11
th point so far. Both teams continued trading baskets, and
Jenna Dombach scored six to maintain a 10-point lead. The Chargers finished the first half with an 8-3 run behind two Dombach threes, and the team carried a 35-20 lead into halftime.

Natalie Wenger and Dombach combined to extend the team's lead to 20 just a minute into the second half. Over the next five minutes, Penn College piled together eight unanswered points, but
Rachel Nolt snapped the run with a layup followed by a three on the very next possession. Nolt and Iwais each nailed another three, and Lancaster Bible went into the final quarter up 53-39. The Wildcats quickly crawled back to make it a single-digit deficit early in the quarter and trailed by seven with six minutes left. The final minutes were a chaotic back-and-forth game, but the Chargers were feeling it from deep and jumped out to win 74-65.
