The Lancaster Bible College Men's Tennis team faced the Eastern Eagles on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers battled throughout the match but were ultimately defeated by the Eagles 5-4. The Chargers drop to 0-6 overall while the Eagles pick up their first win of the season and move to 1-3. 
 
How It Happened: In doubles play, the Chargers were close in the #1 and #2 match-ups but were unable to pull out a victory.

Caleb Cavaiani dropped their match to Day/DeVage with a score of 8-6. 
Cameron Tripp/Hemberth Pena dropped their match 8-5 while 
Cole Scheihing/
Andrew Kelly dropped their match 8-1. 
 
On the singles side, four Chargers picked up victories. 
Josh Jarvis picked up a 6-3/6-4 victory in the #1 match. 
Caleb Cavaiani dropped his sets 6-3 and 6-0 while 
Cameron Tripp dropped his 6-3 and 6-4. Hemberth Pena picked up a victory with scores of 7-5 and 6-2. 
Andrew Kelly and 
Cole Scheihing each dropped their first sets 6-3. Kelly battled back and won 7-6 and 10-8. Scheihing battled back in his match with scores of 6-4 and 13-11. 
 
Up Next: The Chargers will play back-to-back home matches next week. The McDaniel Green Terror make the trip on Wednesday, March 20th and the Penn State Brandywine Lions make the trip on Friday, March 22nd. Both matches are set to begin at 3:30 p.m.Â
