Lancaster Bible College's Softball team faced Gallaudet in a doubleheader and took care of business, winning game one 7-2 and game two 8-4. The Chargers improved to 10-15 overall and 4-6 in the United East. The Bison fell to 4-18 on the year with an 0-12 conference record.

Game 1, 7-2 Win
How It Happened: Phoebe Clemens started the bats for Lancaster Bible with a triple on her first at-bat, and
KariAnn Mecke followed up by doubling, sending Clemens home to take a 1-0 lead. However, Gallaudet answered quickly, tying it at one after one inning. Both sides went empty in the second inning, and Mecke kept up her stellar performance thus far with another double resulting in two RBIs for a 3-1 lead. In innings three and four,
Alyssa Hamilton held the Bison to just one hit and zero runs. At the top of the fifth, Clemens hit another triple, getting two runners home, and almost scored herself, but Lancaster Bible held a 5-1 lead thanks to the big hit. The Chargers extended their lead by one run when
Alyssa Paulson made it home following a single, but this time the Bison struck back and made the score 6-2. Mecke hit another RBI in the seventh inning to put the cherry on top as the Chargers went on to win the first game of their doubleheader 7-2.

Sheyenne King and
Phoebe Clemens getting home to tie it at two. Gallaudet quickly answered with a run of their own in the bottom of the third inning to take a 3-2 lead over Lancaster Bible. It didn't take long for the Chargers to bounce back, however, and
Riley Danko got a run to tie it 3-3 after four innings.
Carleigh Cleland kept the team's momentum rolling, notching an RBI to bring
Alyssa Paulson home and take their first lead of the game. Both teams failed to score in the sixth inning, so it came down to the final inning for the Chargers to maintain their one-run lead. The seventh inning was the Chargers' best of the day, notching four runs sparked by an
Alyssa Hamilton double, to take a commanding 8-3 lead. Gallaudet added one more run, but it wasn't enough as Lancaster Bible reigned victorious for the second game 8-4.
