The Lancaster Bible College Softball team extended their win streak to four after picking up two wins in a doubleheader against non-conference opponent Albright. The Chargers won a tightly contested game 3-1 and took game two 9-2. Lancaster Bible has now improved to an overall record of 12-15 with a 4-6 conference record. The Lions of Albright dropped to 5-24 on the year.

Game 1, 3-1 Win
How It Happened:Â The Chargers got going early in the first inning, totaling three hits with
Alyssa Hamilton singling on the team's first at-bat.
Phoebe Clemens followed with another single, and
KariAnn Mecke hit a single to send Hamilton home and take an early 1-0 lead. In the third inning,
Sheyenne King got on base, and Clemens came up with a triple to add another run to the team's lead. However, Albright quickly answered a run at the bottom of the third, making it a 2-1 game in favor of Lancaster Bible. Through innings four to six,
Riley Danko held the Lions to just two hits and zero runs, but the Chargers were also held scoreless during that span. With a one-run lead in the seventh and final inning,
Noelle Martin stepped up big, stole second and third, and eventually got home to add to the Chargers' lead. Danko held Albright hitless again in the seventh to seal the deal with a Lancaster Bible 3-1 victory.

Game 2, 9-2 Win
How It Happened:Â The bats were rolling for Lancaster Bible in the first, and
Alyssa Paulson started with the first RBI of the inning.
Riley Danko singled to tally another RBI, and
Carleigh Cleland followed with a double to send Danko and Paulson home, making it a 4-0 lead after one inning. In the second,
Phoebe Clemens notched her first RBI of the day on her second hit, and the Chargers added to their lead by one. This time,
Noelle Martin pitched an outstanding game for Lancaster Bible, and she held the Lions hitless in innings three through five. At the top of the fifth, Paulson got her second RBI and extended the lead to 6-0. Inning six was another big one for the Chargers featuring a double from Clemens resulting in three runs, but Albright responded with two runs as well, making it 9-2. The Chargers maintained their lead and went on to complete the doubleheader sweep against Albright, winning game two 9-2.
