The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team traveled to Elizabethtown on Tuesday night for another non-conference matchup, losing 3-0. The Chargers fall to 1-2-2 overall while the Blue Jays improve to 4-1-1 overall.
How It Happened: It was the Blue Jays from the start, pouring on their first five shots in the first 11-minutes of the game. While the Chargers survived the first barrage, it was in the 13
th minute that the home team got their first to go, making it a 1-0 lead for the Blue Jays. The Chargers managed to respond with two solid attacks of their own, but the Blue Jays stayed steady and continued to push the tempo offensively. Â
The Blue Jays added to their lead in the early part of the second half to make it 2-0 on the game. The Chargers couldn't quite muster any offensive attack as the Blue Jays dominated possession, leading to their third and final goal of the game in the 73
rd minute. The Blue Jays went on to win 3-0.
