The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team were matched up against the Pacers of Marywood College late Wednesday night in their second home game of the season, as they searched for their first win of the season. The Pacers shut out the Chargers, 5-0. The Chargers move to an overall record of 0-1-1 as the Pacers improve to 2-0 on the season. 

How It Happened: The Chargers entered their second home game looking for their first win of the season, but the Pacers proved otherwise setting out to a blazing 3-0 lead at halftime. The Pacers got the first to go from a distance as the ball just slipped by the goalie four minutes into play. Despite a few solid opportunities from senior Jade Weir, the Pacers kept possession getting two more goals to go at the 26-minute and 32-minute. 

Looking for a bounce back in the second half, the Pacers made quick work extending the lead scoring in just a minute into play. Facing a 4-0 deficit, the Chargers had trouble creating any momentum as the Pacers continued to control the tempo and possession. Adding another goal in the final few minutes of the game, the Pacers went on to beat the Chargers 5-0. 

By the Numbers: The Chargers fell short in shots 20-3... the Chargers ended with 10 saves to the Pacers two saves... the corner kick battle also went in favor of the Pacers, 7-1.
