The Lancaster Bible College Men's Golf team kicked off their fall season on Monday competing in the Albright Invitational in New Tripoli, Pa. at the Olde Homestead Golf Course. The Chargers finished sixth out of 16 total teams, two shots better than Kean and Susquehanna who tied for seventh. The Chargers finished +42 as a team, shooting 330, while Albright won the team event with a score of +15, shooting 303 as a team.
Sophomore
Carson Hoover and junior
Brady Wiggins led the Chargers both shooting an 82 (T-32). Hoover shot a 41 for both the front nine and back nine meanwhile Wiggins ended with a 42 on the front and a 40 on the back.Â
Fellow junior
Jake Rotelle and senior
Kyle Ebersol was just a stroke behind shooting an 83 (37). Junior Justin Kemper rounded out the Chargers five finishing with an 87, tied for 56 overall.Â
There was a three-way tie for first with Chad Maurer of Arcadia, Jonas Zajicenk of Marymount, and Ben Egin of Albright all shooting a 73.Â
The Chargers will head to Kutztown, Pa. to compete in The Melee at Kutztown on September 26.Â
