Chargers Downed at Seahawks, 65-57

How It Happened: It was a busy first quarter as the Chargers and Seahawks tied the game or changed leads nine total times. It was a three-pointer from freshman Natane White with just over a minute left to tie the game at 12-12 that helped give the Chargers momentum into the second quarter. Another three-pointer to start the second quarter from Serene Calderon that gave them a 18-16 lead. The Chargers took the lead two more times including another three from White but a late three-pointer from the Seahawks gave them a 27-26 lead at halftime.

The Seahawks grew their lead to five points out of halftime, but the Chargers kept pace claiming a 32-31 lead after a converted and-one from Jenna Dombach. With another lead change, the Seahawks took another five point lead before ending the third period 48-42. Seven more points to open the fourth quarter gave the Seahawks a demanding 13 point lead, 55-42. Despite the deficit the Chargers kept chipping away reaching single figures twice before a jumper from Calderon with 49-seconds left brought the deficit to within six points. It wasn't enough as the Seahawks sunk both free throws to seal the game 65-57.
