The Lancaster Bible College Men's Soccer team hosted their first match at home in two weeks as they took on Gallaudet, scoring 12 total goals in an offensive outpouring to notch a shutout win. The Chargers improve to 6-4-3 overall and 3-1-1 in the United East while the Bison fall to 1-9 overall and 1-3 in the United East.

How it Happened:
It took just 64-seconds for the Chargers to find the back of the net as senior
Andrew Cox set up in the box to score the first goal of the game, then less than a minute later sophomore
Joel Walker launched a pass across the field and found freshman
AJ Mecke for the open score, putting the Chargers up 2-0 just 101-seconds into the game. The Chargers took four more shots over the next eight minutes to keep the pressure up, then Cox found junior
Dan Marcroft for a score in the tenth minute. A minute later, Cox got his second goal of the game to go off an assist from freshman
Ruben Reyes. Within the next five minutes, Lancaster Bible scored twice as Mecke found Marcroft for his second score and Mecke got a goal of his own to go on an assist from sophomore
Moses Katembo, making it six goals in the first 15-minutes for the Chargers. The Chargers accounted for one more goal in the first half as sophomore
Josue Carmona set up on the right side off a pass from Mecke, notching his first career goal and Mecke his second assist of the first half as the Chargers led 7-0 at the half.

The second half was scoreless for just over four minutes as Cox got his second assist of the game and Marcroft notched a hat-trick in the 50th minute for the Chargers' eighth goal of the game. It was Cox's turn for a hat-trick in the 54th minute as Mecke got his third assist of the game, connecting with Cox for a score. Sophomore
Silas Dellaperute got in on the scoring action as he crossed a pass from the right to Mecke for another score, his third of the game and LBC's tenth. Dellaperute scored on his own in the 74th minute to pile on, then the final goal of the game was scored with just under ten minutes to play by Katembo, getting an assist from senior
Sam Eckert as the Chargers wrapped up an emphatic 12-0 home conference victory.

Information to Know:
The Chargers are now 13-3-1 all-time against Gallaudet and have won the last six games over the Bison. Twelve goals are the second-most goals scored in a single game in program history and the most in the Division III history of LBC Men's Soccer. This also marks the first game in program history where three different Charger players have recorded three goals.
