The Lancaster Bible College Women's Volleyball team played their third straight road contest on Saturday morning as they traveled to face Penn College, earning a 3-0 sweep in conference play. The Chargers improve to 10-9 overall and 5-1 in the United East while the Wildcats fall to 4-17 overall and 1-3 in the United East.

How it Happened:
Three total kills by junior
Eden Belford helped the Chargers get out to a 5-1 lead in the first set, then a kill by junior
Jessica Fletcher forced a Wilcats timeout after the lead was extended to eight at 11-3. The Chargers then went off for six straight points with two service aces by freshman
Ashby Brummer as they raced ahead by 12 points. Lancaster Bible wrapped up set one with the final four points, including a kill and an ace by sophomore
Madison Reap to help win it 25-10.

Reap got the second set started with back-to-back aces, then Penn College scored the next four to take the lead. Reap followed it up with two kills, then LBC raced out to an 11-6 advantage with an ace from junior
Lea Sareyka and several Charger kills. The Chargers carried their momentum all the way to the end of the set, winning 25-13 on a Fletcher kill.

The Chargers started 2-0 again in set three with two opening kills from Belford, then they got another 11-6 lead powered by a service ace from junior
Madeline Reed. The Wildcats put together four straight points to come within one, but Lancaster Bible responded with a putaway run of eight points with three aces from sophomore
Candace Fox and two kills each by Belford and junior
Chloe Stenberg. Penn College fought back late, but the Chargers closed out the set 25-17 and took home another conference sweep.

Information to Know:
The Chargers remain unbeaten all-time against Penn College at 9-0 and have now won four consecutive games for the first time this season. This is also the Chargers' first time over .500 this season as they are now 10-9 overall.
Madison Reap landed her 100th career service ace in today's match, making her the 24th player in program history to reach the 100-ace milestone and second active player (Sareyka).
