The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team traveled to Williamsport, Pa. to face Penn College in United East play for their final regular season game, falling on the road 4-1. The Chargers finish at 10-6 overall and 5-3 in conference while the Wildcats move to 13-2-2 overall and 6-1 in conference.
How it Happened:
The Wildcats got on the board early as they scored in the fourth minute for a 1-0 lead, and graduate student
Jade Weir had the Chargers' first shot of the game on goal ten minutes later to force a save. Sophomore
Zoe Beers had a pair off shots that were close with one off the crossbar, then soon after Penn College struck again in the 18th minute to take a commanding 2-0 first half lead. A little later, Beers gathered a loose ball and fired a great shot to the upper-right corner, draining it for the Chargers' first goal of the game and cutting the lead to 2-1 at the 27-minute mark. The Wildcats didn't let them settle, however, as they scored 100 seconds later to get the lead right back to two. Junior
Isabella Eufemia had a shot on goal late in the half, but no score as the Chargers trailed 3-1 at the half.
Eufemia had another shot on goal ten minutes into the second half that was saved, then Beers had another shot but missed wide. After earning a corner kick, the Wildcats converted on another score for a three-goal lead in the 68th minute, making it a substantial lead. Senior
Janae Bergey got a shot off to force a Penn College save and the Chargers got a corner kick with 12 minutes left, but they could not power back and fell 4-1 on the road to conclude the regular season.

Information to Know:
The Chargers have dropped their last four games against Penn College and are 3-6-2 against the Wildcats all-time. Lancaster Bible finishes the season at 5-3 in conference for the second straight year and is currently tied for fourth in the United East standings with Penn St. Berks, with the Chargers holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Lions.
Zoe Beers now has seven goals and nine assists this season, totaling 23 points for the eighth-most in the conference and currently leading the United East in assists.
