The Lancaster Bible College Men's Basketball team traveled to Beaver Falls, Pa. on Friday evening to compete in the Geneva Classic, taking on host Geneva (Pa.) and earning an 88-62 victory. The Chargers improve to 2-0 overall while the Golden Tornadoes are 0-1 overall to start their season.
How it Happened:
Junior
Connor Storr scored on the opening possession for the Chargers, then went on an 8-0 run with layups from four different players for a 10-2 lead. Storr knocked down a 3-pointer later in the half, then made a layup to keep the lead at eight points. With under five minutes left in the half, senior
Reaves Hooks hit a three to make it a double-digit lead, then later senior
Luke Rumbaugh had a fast-break layup for the largest lead of the half at 14 points. The Chargers took a 13-point advantage into halftime, leading 43-30.
Storr had four quick points to open the second half, then the Chargers broke the game open with a 14-point run including buckets from junior
Camden Hurst, sophomore
Doug Adiok, and senior
Nile Austin, extending the advantage to 58-33 with about 12 minutes left. The Chargers maintained the big lead as Hooks drained another three and freshman
Jacob Lewis had a pair of 3-pointers, with the Chargers leading by as many as 26 points as they went on to win by that margin for a 2-0 start to the season.

Information to Know:
The Chargers are now 2-1 all-time against Geneva (Pa.) and their first road win against the Golden Tornadoes. The Chargers have their first 2-0 start since the 2021-22 season and have averaged 90 points through their first two games, making them a top-40 scoring offense in the country. This was Lancaster Bible's largest win (26) since January 28 and their largest non-conference victory since they beat Penn St. Brandywine 98-35 on January 17, 2024.
