The Gophers began the third quarter by extending their lead to eight points, with sophomore
Shania Stoltzfus ending the run on a pair of free throws. The Chargers clawed back into the game as Hunter scored a layup, then Wilson knocked down a three to bring it to two. In a final effort in the third, Stoltzfus drained a three off a pass by junior
Rachel Nolt, putting the Chargers up 33-32 heading into the final period. The fourth quarter belonged to the Gophers, outscoring LBC 16-7 as some costly turnovers led to a Goucher run that to an eight-point loss for the Chargers on the road.
