The Lancaster Bible College Men's Volleyball team played a pair of games on Saturday afternoon, hosting their first United East match of the season against Pratt Institute and hosting Stevenson in a rescheduled match from February 8. The Chargers earned a 3-0 sweep over Pratt and showed out for a 3-0 sweep over a Stevenson team receiving votes in the national poll, improving to 14-6 overall and 3-0 in the United East. The Cannoneers fall to 6-9 overall and 0-3 in conference play while the Mustangs are 10-7 overall and 1-2 in the MAC.
vs Pratt Institute – Win, 3-0 (25-10, 25-4, 25-10)
How it Happened:
The Chargers maintained a three-point lead early in set one as both teams had several service errors. Sophomore
Jordan Yoder landed three straight service aces to extend the lead to 16-7, then two more service aces from sophomore
Zeke Clark highlighted a four-point run to make it a double-digit lead at 20-8. The Chargers closed out set one on a kill by sophomore
Jaiden Flanagan, sealing the 25-10 win. Set two was all Lancaster Bible as they held the Cannoneers to just four points, winning 25-4 behind five kills by Clark and five consecutive service aces by junior
Jake Rotelle. The Chargers started set three on a tear as well, leading 9-1 after a slew of Cannoneer errors and an ace by Clark. The Chargers cruised to a 25-10 set win and closed out Pratt in straight sets to improve to 3-0 in conference play.

- The Chargers dominated in every way, landing a season-high 17 service aces while Pratt had zero and crushing the kills battle 33-6

The Chargers have improved to 3-0 in conference play for the third straight season and have won 15 consecutive conference matches since rejoining the CSAC/United East in 2023, sweeping every single match. The Chargers landed a season-high 17 service aces, their highest single-match total since January 20, 2024 at home versus Penn St. Altoona.
vs RV Stevenson – Win, 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-18)
How it Happened:
The Chargers got ahead early in set one after a four-point lead helped them to an 8-5 lead, highlighted by two kills from sophomore
Carson Hoover. Stevenson battled back with a four-point run of their own to pull within one at 14-13. A late 7-1 run from the Chargers helped put the set out of reach as
Jordan Yoder and sophomore
Kevin Bryant landed big kills, winning the set 25-20.
Stevenson took control early in set two as they raced to a 7-2 lead, using a pair of service errors and some kills to put the Chargers in an early hole. Senior
Dawson Forney capped a three-point run with a kill and a service ace, but LBC stayed down about two points as the teams went back and forth. Another late run by the Mustangs tied their largest lead of the day at 19-14, then stayed up four at 21-17. The Chargers turned it on late, using some pivotal kills from Forney and Hoover to power the set to a 21-21 tie. Staring at a set point down 24-22, Lancaster Bible exploded for four straight points to steal the set, using a kill and a block by sophomore
Jaiden Flanagan and a final kill by Hoover to light up the gym and put the Chargers up 2-0 in the match.
The Chargers led 5-2 early in the third set after a kill by Hoover, then Stevenson battled back to tie the set at 7-7. From there, the Chargers launched a run of six straight points behind two kills from Yoder and a combined block of sophomore
Kevin Bryant and
Tyler Martin, increasing the lead 13-7. Lancaster Bible maintained the margin for the rest of the set, closing out the set 25-18 and earning a huge home win over the Mustangs.
By the Numbers:
- The Chargers led by a wide margin in kills 40-22 and had eight blocks to the Mustangs' five, while the two teams tied at six service aces apiece

The Chargers have won four of their last five matchups against Stevenson and earned their first-ever sweep over the Mustangs after each of their last three wins came in five sets. This is Lancaster Bible's third three-game win streak of the season and their second win over a team receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll this season, defeating Rutgers-Newark at home two weeks ago.
