The Lancaster Bible College Baseball team opened their spring break play on Sunday with a doubleheader against Rivier falling 11-1 and 6-4. The Chargers move to 4-4 overall while the Rivier Raiders start the season 2-0.
Game One, 11-1 Loss
The Raiders scored their first run off a homerun in the first inning and continued to keep the bats alive through seven innings of play pouring in 11 runs on the day. The Chargers were struggling to get anything going from the box until

Game Two, 6-4 Loss
The Chargers found life to open the second game of the day as a single to centerfield from
Dylan Witkowski brought in
Evan Sareyka. With the Chargers leading 1-0, the Raiders quickly responded with five runs of their own in the bottom of the inning to retake the lead 5-1. Sareyka singled to score
Nick Colarossi but the Raiders matched the run.
Malachi Sloane scored in the fourth inning but it wasn't enough as the Raiders went on to secure a 6-4 win.
By the Numbers
- The Chargers had six hits for four runs and two runs batted in.
- The Raiders had six hits for six runs and three runs batted in.
- Owen Shimmel and Sareyka both went 2-4 with Sareyka adding a run and an RBI.
