The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women' Track & Field teams traveled to Lebanon Valley on Saturday morning to compete in a dual match kicking off the 2025 outdoor season. The Chargers saw several solid performance including three broken school records by
Emery McCombs and two more from
Martha Weaver.
Seana Dougherty has also continued her streak earning first in the 1500-meter run and breaking the school record.
Men's Track & Field
- David Helms finished second overall in the 1500m run with a time of 4:27.96.
- Emery McCombs finished first overall and broke the school record in the shot put with a mark of 12.40m.
- McCombs finished third and broke the school record in discus with a mark of 29.99m.
- McCombs finished second and broke the school record in hammer with a mark of 37.89m.
Women's Track & Field
- Seana Dougherty won the 1500m run with a time of 5:16.55 to set a new school record.
- Abby Ames was close behind in the 1500m run with a time of 5:17.91.
- Martha Weaver broke a school record and won shot put with a time of 11.38m.
- Weaver also finished second overall in the hammer (37.44m) and discus (30.46m).
